WebSep 20, 2024 · Hi I'm a new user, I recently won a bid on a dell OptiPlex 7010 sff, I plan to take the motherboard out and build a case from scratch and add an e3 1240 v2 that I have in my shop, despite others that have told me it probably wont work, the e3 1240 v2 works in the 7010 MT so im confident it will work. Unfortunately Dell does not offer any standard form factor board in optiplex for 300 series chipset.
