WebNov 28, 2024 · As I recall the issues were 1) the Starter location apparently due to the 168 tooth flywheel, 2) on some of the covers the nose of the starter was too long for the cover, 3) bolt holes not lining up to the 700R4 transmission's bolt holes, and 4) the ribs on the front of the dust cover obstructing the fit against the block.
