Like Jim said, check for power at the switch connector first, and also check that the ground is good (it's common to both mirrors thru the switch). Wire color for power should be Light Green/Yellow Tracer, and the ground should be black. If that checks out, just chuck the switch and get a new one.

If one tab is bent, the mirror won't work properly in whatever direction (s) that tab is involved in completing the circuit for. Try repairing or replacing the switch first. F32 This shows symbol for heated seats, This fuse was blown, replaced and working fine.
